- Will – Although most people understand they need a current will, it is easy to put this task off year after year. Even if you have a will, does your will accurately reflect your current wishes? Without a will, your assets will be distributed according to state law with no consideration given to your particular family situation.
- Power of Attorney – POAs give another person power to make financial and health care decisions on your behalf. Without these documents, important life decisions cannot be made without your approval. This can result in very troubling circumstances should you find yourself unable to make decisions due to health troubles, foreign travel, or other life events.
- Living Will – A living will instructs your doctors and family about your end-of-life decisions regarding a natural death versus being kept alive by a machine. Don’t put your loved ones in the position of having to make this emotional decision. You can make your wishes known through a living will.
- Automobile Insurance – You probably have automobile insurance, but do you have enough coverage to protect you in the event of an accident? Without sufficient coverage, your personal assets can be at stake after a collision. Our auto accident attorneys will review your automobile insurance policy at no charge in order to analyze your personal risks.
- Marital Agreements – With half of marriages ending in divorce, Premarital Agreements, Postmarital Agreements, Separation Agreements, and Child Support Agreements are a critical part of many family arrangements. If you need one of these agreements prepared or want an attorney to review the terms of your current agreement, please give us a call.
