With more than 17 years of experience practicing family law, I understand that few legal matters are as personal or consequential as those involving your family. Since beginning my legal career in 2009, I have devoted my practice exclusively to family law, representing clients in matters involving divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, child custody, and child support. In 2020, I earned my certification as a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law by the North Carolina State Bar, a distinction that reflects my extensive experience and demonstrated expertise in this area of law.

My commitment to family law began during my second year of law school, when a family member turned to me for support during her separation. Witnessing firsthand the emotional challenges she faced while navigating an unfamiliar and complicated legal process inspired me to pursue a career helping individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult transitions.

Over the course of my career, I have represented clients in complex and highly contested family law matters, including those involving significant marital estates, complicated financial issues, and difficult custody disputes. I have learned that no two families are alike, and neither are the challenges they face. I believe effective representation requires more than a thorough understanding of the law. It requires listening carefully and developing a strategy tailored to each client’s particular circumstances and long-term goals.
