Scott was a founding member of the firm who practiced law in Charlotte, NC for over 40 years. During much of his career, Scott focused his practice on family law issues such as equitable distribution of property, alimony, spousal support, child support, and custody. Scott earned a reputation for providing aggressive but practical representation. Although Scott passed away on August 4, 2020, his former colleagues at the firm seek to exhibit the same level of class and professionalism Scott demonstrated each and every day he practiced law. Scott is greatly missed, but his legacy lives on at the firm.
